Creating a Copyright Presentation

In creating my power point presentation I learned the copyright law, fair use, code of best practices, open content and guidelines for educators.  As I researched at one point I became overwhelmed and realized how unfamiliar I was with the copyright laws and infringement.  I currently understand that even our power point presentation is copyrighted the moment we create it.  It is only a matter of how we may want to formally copyright and protect our work.  I also learned that as educators if we don’t understand or are unclear about the lines and boundaries of the copyright law we may not be able prepare our students.
